These instructions seem to work for the Creative Cloud folks. One set is the instructions for those having disk-delivered copies of CS5 (and maybe CS 5.5?) or Creative Cloud subscriptions (presumably for CS6). Note that the linked Adobe help file has two separate sets of instructions. That probably made my description unclear. Sorry about giving incorrect link in my first post. Yes, that's the Adobe link I meant to use in my first post. I do not work on with Macs, so I do not know what the process would be for those systems, but I would guess it will be similar. The top line is 'Library Content.' Browse to or type the path: 'C:/ProgramFiles/Adobe/AdobeEncoreCS6/Library.' You should now have access to the Encore menus, buttons, styles, etc. Find the folders labeled 'Library' and 'templates.' Copy them to the folder 'ProgramFiles/Adobe/AdobeEncoreCS6.' If asked to overwrite 'library,' do it.Д¤. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to ProgramFiles(x86)/Adobe/AdobeEncoreCS5.1.

Then navigate as above, double click on Setup.exe and install the Encore 5.1 content.)ДЈ.

Double click on the 'EXE file to extract the contents into a folder.

You'll get two files: a compressed archive that ends in 'LZ7' and an 'EXE' extractor file. For those with electronic downloads of 5.5, these will be in a folder called 'Premiere Pro Family Content Installers.' The subfolder is called 'Adobe Encore CS 5.1 Functional Content.' Double click on 'Setup.exe.' (If you can't find this file, you will have to go log back on to your account at Adobe and re-download the Content.

(I know that it was Encore 5.1 that came with CS 5.5, but let's just refer to the suite for the sake of this discussion, okay?).ДЄpparently, it will be a few days before Adobe will be able to sort this out. Worse, it completely trashed all the library and content files for Encore CS 5.5. The CS 6 installer for Encore content gave me only about 8 general menus and nothing else. It was a different story with Encore content. (There are some problems with display but it does work for me.) In my case, the PPro CS6 content (title templates) installed and more or less work.

Adobe has posted instructions that are supposed to fix the problem.ДЄpparently, the instructions work for the Creative Cloud subscribers but not for for those who got their CS6 upgrade via ESD (i.e., download.) Basically, you do not have access to title templates, menus, buttons, and etc. Very much appreciated.The content installers for Encore and PPro CS6 seem to be broken, at least for some people. I've got a computer guy I rely on to help me. I've been trying to find the folders I need to copy and paste too.

The menu libraries and buttons should come back with installing the content from the zip file (very long time since I did it myself). You can still run the software and get the job done. If anything, it may have been 'discontinued' as an active part of the Creative Suite so that Adobe no longer have to make royalty payments for codec support etc. The software was fully mature and was still available. It wasn't developed beyond CS6 because there wasn't anything left to do to enhance the software with. I would rather start using another DVD authoring software than deal with Encore any longer.ДЄny help on installing the Contents file or advise on a new DVD Authoring software that I could replace Encore with would be appreciated. I also would like to know is there a DVD Authoring Software that I could get that would be a good replacement for Encore?Д«eing that Adobe does not support Encore any longer it seems that it has become a massive headache for allot of us. The Zip File that I downloaded comes from the Adobe Forums. Everyone says that Encore is old, and Adobe doesnвЂ™t support it anymore. I want to do it the right way so IвЂ™m holding off. I downloaded it but havenвЂ™t installed it yet. One thing I did find was a link to download contents zip file, quite large, that I could install. IвЂ™ve done a lot of searching here and on the net for solutions. When I reinstalled Encore CS6 none of the Menu Libraries, Buttons, etc, made it in the reinstall. Recently I went from Windows 7 to Win 10. I am a long-time user of Adobe Encore CS6.
